Whether it be saturated or subtle, color is the ideal way to bring a fresh touch to your wardrobe this summer. Our June collection has a considered color palette that includes bright shades, custom prints and soft pastels, all cleverly designed to create endless mix-and-match styling solutions throughout the season - we call that intelligent design.

SUNSET HUES

Few shades bring an instant endorphin hit like our sunset-worthy zesty orange. It forms the perfect base for a contemporary graphic floral print in our Full Length Dress, which is made from crisp, breathable cotton poplin with gathered banded panels for a flattering, voluminous silhouette. Note the back shirring that assures a comfortable fit.

Orange also proves to be a great choice for our knit vest. It’s knitted from lightweight silk yarns that have a subtle sheen and decorative faux-pearl studded buttons add a further elevated touch. Heighten the shade’s subtle glow by teaming it with warm-toned neutrals.

FRESH LEMON YELLOW

A key color story throughout our June collection, Fresh lemon yellow is seen across women’s tailoring, dresses and used within our custom prints to create endless styling possibilities throughout the season. 

Our Waterlily Print Maxi dress spotlights two of the June collection’s key colour stories - pale yellow and bright green. The yellow base is light enough to work as a neutral, while the pops of green in the floral pattern and trimming the neckline bring a lively edge. Speaking of the neckline, note the removable bandeau insert that allows for customisable coverage. 

Reimagined suits and tailoring are a ME+EM signature, and for the June collection we’ve reworked classic masculine pinstripes through a softer, feminine lens thanks to the pale yellow shade. The three-piece set includes a single-breasted blazer, waistcoat and a choice between two trouser shapes, slim crop or wide leg. 

Each piece is made from a soft ECOVERO™ viscose fabric that’s sourced and made in Portugal. The material is the perfect combination of fluid and structured so it feels comfortable all day yet retains its shape. Opt for a head-to-toe lemon look by wearing the full set, or dilute it down by teaming each piece with a more casual counterpart. 

Our final choice in our Fresh lemon breakdown is the Waterlily print midi dress. One of our hero custom prints, the Waterlily motif is rendered in blue and orange and overlaid on a versatile pale yellow base. However it’s not just the clever color palette we love about this style. Clever details such as a zip-adjustable neckline allow for customisable coverage, and an optional tie belt gives you the option to alter the silhouette to your preference.

EARTHY NEUTRALS

The bold hues of the June collection are grounded with a selection of earthy neutral shades that allows for balanced outfit building. Our Wide-Leg Culotte is made from crisp cotton that enhances the cropped, wide-leg fit, while the button-detachable tie belt allows for the option of a defined waist. The versatile cumin hue is the ideal base to patterned blouses or statement tailoring. 

Our neutral-hued outerwear such as our ochre Leather Crop Jacket works as a final addition to all manner of looks. Rendered in supple nappa leather, the clean-lined silhouette is framed with a neat point collar and finished with a cropped hem - intelligently designed to complement our pant waistlines. 

VERDANT GREENS

Our Menthol Green is a key color story for June. Across tailoring and dresses, it’s the perfect shade to instantly enliven any look. The Pop Colour Crop Jacket is the ideal final layer to casual and evening looks alike. Its textured cotton fabric holds its clean-lined structure and the cropped hem is designed to sit neatly over trousers or dresses.

Uniting bold color and textural interest, our Cotton Pop Maxi Dress is made from a cotton and viscose blend that features an intricate floral jacquard. The softly structured silhouette has flattering cap sleeves and back shirring for a comfortable fit over the bodice. Note the back cutout which adds a contemporary twist.

We’re not just doing tonal green looks. Our textured stripe co-ord set includes a tank top, A-line skirt and a matching bag, but it’s the innovative palette that really makes it a hero piece. From sapphire to cobalt, a bold blue can be a flattering and uplifting choice for all. We’ve gone with an unforgettable shade Forget Me Not Blue to update one of our bestselling silhouettes, our Statement Guipure Lace Maxi Dress. The flared silhouette and voluminous puff sleeves makes it an ultra-flattering choice, while the guipure lace overlay delivers a high-impact finish.

Our new-season Stripe Lace Detail Blouse is another quick-win in colorful style. It’s rendered in a shirting-classic light blue with darker stripes, but it’s the lace inserts down the puff sleeves and trimming the ruffled collar that gives it a polished, feminine finish.
