At FFF+US Inc. (“we”, “us” or “our”), we value our customers and recognize and respect the importance of protecting your personal information. FFF+US, Inc. is wholly owned by our parent entity ME and EM Limited.
We are the controller for the purposes of data protection law, in respect of your personal information we collect and process. This privacy policy describes how we collect and use your personal information when you: access and use www.meandem.com/us (“Website”); interact with us or where we interact with you by email, phone, post or other means such as social media; and visit one of our stores.
1. HOW AND WHEN DO WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We collect personal information about you from a variety of sources, including:
1.1 from you directly when you such as: when you create an account with us, purchase products from us (including via our guest checkout) via our Website or in one of our stores, or communicate with us via our Customer Care team (by email, telephone, post, or other communication method such as via social media);
1.2 from information we generate about you during our relationship with you such as: data collected from cookies and other similar technologies which are described below; and
1.3 from information we collect about you from other sources such as: marketing database providers, analytics providers and affiliates. This includes publicly available sources too, such as social media (where permitted by law).
2. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU?
2.1 The personal information we collect, or have in the last 12 months collected, from you directly and indirectly includes:
2.1.1 personal and contact information such as: name, billing address, postal address, email and telephone number, gender, date of birth, marital status;
2.1.2 marketing preferences such as: whether you sign up to receive our newsletter or lookbook;
2.1.3 other personal information about you that you decide to provide such as: in relation to your responses to voluntary surveys about our product, services or business or when you contact us to help you with measurements and sizing;
2.1.4 technical information collected from your device when you are browsing on our Website or our digital marketing communications. This includes: your IP address, your location (by country, state and city), device type, browser type, operating system, interaction with, and responses to, our marketing communication and activity on our Website. Please see cookie policy (below) for more information;
2.1.5 communications between you and us such as: by phone, email, Website and social media. Please note this includes call recordings we take when you contact our Customer Care team by phone;
2.1.6 CCTV video footage of you at our stores which is date and timestamped;
2.1.7 transaction information such as: orders placed by you which will include details, such as the value of orders, products purchased, and information about your visit to our Website, such as your saved items, the pages you visit, how you arrived to our Website, how often you use our Website, all of which help us to understand your interests.
2.2 The personal information we collect from other sources includes:
2.2.1 Delivery information: from our delivery partners in relation to the status of your orders such as: name of recipient, signature, location of your order and proof of delivery photographs;
2.2.2 Information from service providers such as:
(i) our marketing service providers who create our postal mailing lists using pooled information about what customers purchase to help us understand consumers’ wider buying patterns and ensure we can tailor our communications, send you suitable offers that should be of interest to you, based on what you like to buy; our affiliates who may provide us with personal information in relation to the performance and reach of their content site or blog.
2.2.3 Publicly available information: such as information available on social media pages, content, tools and applications.
3. HOW DO WE USE THE PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU?
3.1 Your personal information may be used by us for the following purposes. Please note if you fail to provide certain information when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have entered into with you (such as fulfilling your order or return), or we may be prevented from complying with our legal obligations (such as to ensure safety).

4. NOTICE OF FINANCIAL INCENTIVE
4.1 We offer certain prize draws, contests, and sweepstakes that may be considered financial incentives under the California Consumer Privacy Act. When you sign up for and participate in a prize draw, contest, or sweepstake, we may ask you to provide us with your name and email address. Participation is voluntary, and no purchase is required.
4.2 While we do not assign a monetary value to the personal information we collect from participants in exchange for the prizes, we do receive value in the form of customer loyalty and increased purchase engagement. In determining the value to ME+EM, we considered the revenue generated from activities related to the collection and retention of participants’ personal information less expenses related to providing the prizes. This value will vary. You may withdraw from a prize draw, contest, or sweepstake at any time by contacting us using the designated method set forth in the applicable rules, and/or by opting out from our email.
5. Cookies, Pixels, And Similar Tracking Technologies
5.1 We use cookies and similar tracking technologies, including pixel tags or web beacons (collectively "cookies"), to collect certain information on our Website. We also permit certain third parties to use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your use of our Website. The information collected by these tracking technologies may include (a) your internet protocol (IP) address, unique device identifiers, location, browser type, and Internet service provider information; (b) information about when and how you access and use our Website, such as the domains you visit, what features you used and for how long, the website that referred you to us, and date/time stamps associated with your usage; (c) information about the device you use to access the Website such as device type, device ID, and device/browser settings; and (d) location of the device used to access the Site derived from GPS or WiFi use.

6.1 We may also disclose, and may have disclosed in the preceding 12 months, your personal information to other third parties, for example:
6.1.1 Our service providers
(i) Our business partners, affiliates, suppliers and sub-contractors for legitimate business interests such as for the performance of any contract we enter into with them (for example: payment services provider, printing, advertising service providers, the affiliate program etc.)
(ii) Our professional advisers: including accountants, lawyers and other professional advisers that assist us in carrying out our business activities.
(iii) Companies that help us: such as marketing service providers who create our postal mailing lists using pooled information about what customers purchase to help us understand consumers’ wider buying patterns; and those who deliver your order, such as couriers and parcel delivery companies.
6.1.2 Group companies we work closely with: for security, improving our products and services, and internal reporting, based on our legitimate business interests.
6.1.3 In the context of a transaction: we may share your personal information with potential partners and other third parties in connection with the consideration, negotiation, or completion of a corporate transaction in which we are acquired by or merged with another company or we sell or transfer all or a portion of our assets or business.
6.1.4 Government authorities, law enforcement, fraud prevention agencies and relevant third parties: this is on the basis of our interests for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims to protect our business.
6.1.5 In compliance with applicable legal and regulatory obligations: we may share your personal information with law enforcement agencies, courts, government authorities or other third parties where we believe it is necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation, or otherwise to protect our rights or the rights of a third party.
7. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
The personal information that we collect from or about you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside of the country in which it was originally collected. This may include transfers outside of United States and into the UK or European Economic Area (EEA). It may also be processed by staff working outside of the United States who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting your personal information, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy and applicable law.
8. HOW LONG WILL WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We will keep for only as long as necessary in line with our retention criteria taking into consideration: legal obligations, best industry practice, limitation periods, our business needs. and for the establishment, exercise or defense of a legal claim.
9. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
9.1 Pursuant to applicable data protection law, you can make the following choices regarding your personal information:
9.1.1 Promotional Emails. You may choose to provide us with your email address for the purpose of allowing us to send free newsletters, surveys, offers, and other promotional materials to you, as well as targeted offers from third parties. You can stop receiving promotional emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any promotional e-mail that you receive from us, or by logging into your account on our Website and managing your email preferences. If you decide not to receive promotional emails, we may still send you transactional communications, such as those about your account, to fulfill orders you have made, to ask you to rate the product you purchased, or other service-related communications.
9.1.2 Direct Mailing. If at any time you do not want to receive our lookbook or other circulars, you can remove yourself from our mailing lists by using this link. Please note that our mailings are prepared in advance of their being sent. Although we will remove your name from our mailing list after receiving your request, you may still receive mailings from us that had been initiated prior to your name being removed.
9.1.3 Changes To Your Personal Information. We rely on you to update and correct your personal information. Our Website allows you to modify your account profile. Note that we may keep historical information in our backup files as permitted by law.
9.1.4 Deletion Of Your Personal Information. You may request that we delete your personal information. If required by law, we will delete your personal information after such request is made. We may also decide to delete your data if we believe that the data is incomplete or inaccurate, or that our continued use and storage are contrary to our obligations to other individuals or third parties. When we delete personal information, it will be removed from our active database, but it may remain in archives where it is not practical or possible to delete it. You should note that there are some situations in which we may decline to delete your personal information. For example, we retain the information that we collect to, among other things, detect security incidents, comply with our legal obligations, enforce any of our agreement, and protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity.
9.1.5 Access To Your Personal Information. You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, along with other information such as the purposes of the processing, the recipients, or categories of recipients to whom the personal information has been or will be disclosed, the sources of the personal information, retention, and transfers of personal information, and a list of third party recipients of personal information that we process. If required by law, upon request, we will grant you with reasonable access to the personal information that we have about you. Where required by law, we may also transfer a machine-readable copy of your personal information to you or a third party of your choice.
9.1.6 Opt-Out of Targeted Advertising or the Sale of My Personal Information. Subject to certain exceptions, you may have the right to opt out of the "sale" of your personal information. It may be considered a "sale" of personal information under applicable law when we disclose certain names and mailing addresses to advertising networks and data enrichment providers. Also, we use services that help deliver interest-based ads to you and may transfer personal information to business partners for their use. Making personal information (such as online/device identifiers, browsing activity, or geolocation data) available to these third parties may be considered "targeted advertising" or a "share" under applicable law. To opt out of "targeted advertising" or the "sale" of your personal information as just described, please use the cookie banner and set your preferences. Please note that your use of our Website may still be tracked by us and/or our service providers.
9.1.7 Online Tracking. Some web browsers incorporate a "Do Not Track" (DNT) or similar feature that signals to websites that a visitor does not want to have his/her online activity and behavior tracked. Not all browsers offer a DNT option and there is currently no industry consensus for how to recognize or respond to a DNT signal.
9.1.8 Restriction of Processing of Sensitive Personal Information. You have the right to request the restriction of processing of your sensitive personal information. Where applicable, the respective sensitive personal information will be marked accordingly and may only be processed by us for certain purposes. At the current time, however, we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those expressed in this Policy or otherwise permitted by applicable law, and these uses cannot be limited under California law.
9.1.9 Automated Processing. Under certain circumstances, you have the right to object to a significant decision based solely on automated processing (i.e., without human intervention) unless that decision is required or authorized by law. At the current time, however, we do not engage in automated processing without human intervention.
9.1.10 Right of Non-Discrimination/Retaliation. We do not discriminate against individuals who exercise any of their rights described in this Privacy Policy, nor do we retaliate against individuals who exercise these rights.
9.2 Please note that many of the above rights are subject to exceptions and limitations. Your rights and our responses will vary based on the circumstances of the request. If you choose to assert any of these rights under applicable law, we will respond within the time period prescribed by such law.
9.3 In certain jurisdictions in the USA, a person authorized to act on your behalf may make a verifiable request related to your personal information. If you designate an authorized person to submit requests to exercise certain privacy rights on your behalf, we will require verification that you provided the authorized agent permission to make a request on your behalf. In any circumstance, your request must: (i) provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify that you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative of that person; and (ii) describe the request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor's identity or authority to make the request.

In certain jurisdictions in the USA, you may appeal our decision to your request regarding your personal information. To do so, please contact us in any of the ways listed in the "Contact Us" section. We respond to all appeal requests as soon as we reasonably can, and no later than legally required.
10. CHILDREN
We do not knowingly or intentionally collect any personal information from children under the age of 16, nor do we sell (as the term is defined by applicable law) the personal information of children under 16. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a visitor under the age of sixteen on the Website, we will take steps to delete the information from our records.

Any changes we make to this Privacy Policy in the future will be posted on this page and any material changes will be communicated to you.
